

Kristina Bäckström is a senior lecturer. In her current research project she examines the role of the physical store in today’s changing and increasingly digitalized world. Previously she has studied how smartphones transform consumers’ in-store shopping practices. In her dissertation she studied how consumers experience leisure shopping in retail store environments.
