Stuart Reid's thesis has the title: Touring Tourism Enterprising - Mundane Practices of Tourism Development and studies how tourism enterprises practically happen and what this means for understanding tourism development. It offers a tour of tourism enterprising, visiting different sites to illuminate the practical workings of tourism enterprises and the mundane practices of tourism development. Visiting selected sites of enterprising, this thesis shows how tourism enterprises and tourism development happen through the complexity and variability of everyday action. This offers another view of tourism enterprises and tourism development.
Stuart Reid moved from Australia to Sweden with his wife and three children to pursue doctoral studies at the Department of Service Management and Service Studies, Lund University. He has a background in regional development and applied tourism research.
