Welcome from the examiner!
Sustainability has guided relations between society and the environment for decades, yet its meaning remains unclear and contested.
The course explores the history of sustainability, key global events, and governance at different levels. You will examine challenges and possibilities for achieving sustainability, including perspectives on the Anthropocene and post-sustainability.
Teaching is based on group discussions and peer learning, and assessment consists of two individual written essays.
Welcome!
Johan Hultman, course examiner
