– The course started with a guest from the University of Stirling in Scotland. After that we had a guest from Outnorth where their Chief Operation officer Jan Kantola presented how they work with customer journeys for their customers. We’ve had representatives from IKEAs development and innovation team that talked about their work with innovation and they gave input to the projects the students are working on within the course. Are B Andersson, former e-commerce expert at Postnord now with the Swedish trade federation came the week after. Right now we have a visit from Jonas Hessler from Acceltech and newly appointed CEO of Home Furnishing Nordics. Finally we have Mats Fischerström and Axel Lindgren from nShift lecturing digitally. The reason we have so many external lecturers is to give the students insights in to what is happening right now in a very fast transformation within last mile, says Klas.
One of the guest lecturers, Jonas Hessler from Home Furnishing Nordics remember his own time at the university and how valuable it was with external guests. Now he wants to give back.
– I think it’s very important to help and contribute with knowledge and industry insights. I remember guest lectures as something very positive from my own days as a student. To come in as an external lecturer is built on dialogue, not just standing in the front and holding a presentation, but also to ask questions and listen to the answers. In that way I, from the business life, can also learn something new but also be able to confirm if things are still true, relevant and interesting, says Jonas.
